Set Adrift was an acoustic duet formed by old school friends Chris Davison and Lucy Burgess, who performed tirelessly on the Essex and London folk circuits for a number of years. Fire At The Blues Motel was released in 2006 on limited edition CD, and this is the first time it has been available digitally. The original artwork files are long gone!

"A gloriously serene effort that signals its arrival in my CD player with a haze of radio distortion gradually giving way to a glockenspiel solo that goes by the name of 'Public Service Renouncement'. 'Testing Times' and 'your Secret Is Safe With Me' are beautiful ballads utilising both male and female vocals that are reminiscent of Caleb's more mellower moments. 'What Might Have Been', 'Bristol Song', and 'The Allotment Song' see a slight change of tempo, and the likes of 'Airport Waltz' ('Medication in my case has put me on the most wanted list/But I'm not a terrorist/I'm just a tourist') see darker lyrics set to a continually twee melody, but overall this is a beautiful collection of considered songs that would make a great soundtrack to a summer's day!".
